Description
The Ministry in Biblical Counseling program, “Using Psychological and Sociological Insights with Biblical Truths,” is a comprehensive thirty-six (36) semester-hour curriculum that combines rigorous biblical and theological training under the guidance of Dr. Johnson with expert counseling courses from the National Christian Counselors Association.
Graduates of this program will earn a Ministerial Associate from Dr. Johnson and are prepared to apply for faith-based licensure (distinct from state licensure). This program is structured for completion within 6 months, with an option for students to extend their studies for an additional 6 months at a nominal fee if needed.
Instructor
Dr. Rob Johnson is a U.S. Marine veteran, published author, and dedicated educator. He brings decades of unique, real-world experience to the virtual classroom, having served as a Texas state prison case manager and as the executive director of a military family advocacy organization for 28 years. An expert in community building, Dr. Johnson has spent nearly three decades uniting elected officials and community groups to support veterans. He has authored four books on leadership and public service, and his career achievements have been honored by two U.S. presidents, culminating in the Presidential Lifetime Achievement Award. Dr. Johnson is committed to fostering an inclusive, high-achieving online environment where every student can thrive.
